Gracie Barra is no ordinary martial arts organization. We promote a holistic perspective to Jiu-Jitsu, including physical and mental wellness. All GB Schools are supervised by a Gracie Barra certified instructor, who supports students and helps each one achieve their potential through challenging training programs.
FABIANA BORGES
Fabiana Borges was born on the 26th of June, 1988 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She started training Jiu Jitsu at 11 years old in Cascadura, Rio de Janeiro. She had tried Soccer and Volleyball, but didn’t follow through. When the opportunity arose to train BJJ she didn’t miss it.
She began her practice of the “arte suave” in a famous social project led by the famous BJJ coach, Fabiano Gaudio, a project that pledges to help kids from poorer areas, giving them coaching not only in Jiu Jitsu, but also giving them a concept of citizenship and society. This project has also produced one of the hottest prospects in BJJ today, Patrick Gaudio.
OUR PROGRAMS
We offer a wide range of adult Jiu-Jitsu classes so students can choose the class that best suits their needs. We have three tiers of classes that address varying degrees of skill and knowledge.
Jiu-Jitsu classes for children begin with the building blocks that are needed to teach the fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu. We have developed a curriculum that is structured in a way that shows children and teens the value of routine, cooperation and self-awareness.
